My First Airgun

I had been spying on this model over the internet for nearly 2 years and finally bought it last year. It is a good condition gun, a Gamo R77 which by the first look you can say it appears to be a copy ( not an exact or licensed copy) of Colt Phyton. Well, from the picture, anyone one could have mistaken it as a real revolver with few rim fire cartridges around.

Colt Phyton .357 Magnum 6"

Anyway, someone who knows enough will tell you that this is a work of an idiot- who mixed his airgun revolver with the 22 calibre rim fire cartridges so that his air gun look more cool n real!- this what i was trying to do. haha. But then if someone who has seen a real revolver (the one with the swing out cylinder) would definitely feel weird about where the hell the ejector rod is. That bugger should be sticking out from the center part of the cylinder.

Dude, I really love this gun, and have spent much on it, the gases, seals and a good all round service has just been done recently. This piece is rarely seen now online but only the 2nd hand or many2 hands version because I think Gamo has stopped its production.

It shoots well with both single and double action but the single action gives more accuracy and lighter trigger pull. The combat rubberized grip fits snuggly in your hands and give you a tight hold of the gun. All in all, a nice good replica which can shoot any sort of pellets, and also a good plinking buddy or as your arsenal collection.

I am happy to consider any offer or swap if someone would like to own this lovely chick (") Just contact me.

Beretta M92F Brigaddier

I finally got my hands on this shiny and handsome bad boy! Back then in 2000 I have seen and even bought a few replica/aisoft/bb guns made in China. They were nice copies but did not have the licensed trademark from the original gun's manufacturer. Felt really light & cheap and could only last for less than a week before they break . This new toy, yet not so new because I got it in 2006 and sold it in 2007 after have played with it and learn everything from it.

This is actually a gas blowback airsoft from Tokyo Marui which is a copy of Beretta M92F Brigaddier. The gun is made of hard ABS plastic which is highly durable and solid and also have some metal parts ( slide catch/release,spring, magazine, hammer, trigger, recoil spring and rods) The chrome finish is really awesome that you would've never thought that it is not metal! It feels really cold to touch and shiny like a mirror and even your finger prints will stay there. I remember how I used to lube it every now and then and have to wipe numerous finger prints on it.

However, because of a financial problem and thought that I have to stop this hobby ( too many people dislike and hate me loving guns and firearms or anything related/lookalike) I finally sold this cool ass on trademe. I knew it was underpriced until it was sold with buy now. Huhuhu.. I should have made a large bucks out of it becuase at that time, my piece was one of the very few that had landed on New Zealand. The view was also very high ( 600++) , being the top in the bb gun category.

RRP at that time was NZD $ 499 and now may be between NZD$ 299-349.

How My Interest Begins?

I am not really sure how and when exactly I started to like guns, but from what I can remember, most of my toys in those days were guns, or anything gun-related like handcuffs, baton, etc.

My first toy :)

I could still remember how my uncle used to buy us with heaps of roll caps for the cap guns that I and few of my cousins played with. That was probably about 20 years ago, before I moved on to the 8 caps revolver few years later.

They came in variety of designs and colours. Some of them still exist today which I came across in the 2 dollar shop the other day but I strongly feel that the thrill and fun now are not gonna be the same as they were in my early days with the cap guns.

Furthermore, I am now moving on to the better version of handgun replicas which include airsoft, non-firing replica, blank guns, co2 and spring powered air guns.
